Account of a trial for libel in 1962. The plaintiff was Dr Dering, a London Doctor of Polish origin who brought the case against the author and publisher of 'Exodus'. In that novel a page made reference to a Dr Dehring connecting him to 'human guinea pig' experiments at Auschwitz. Many survivors of Auschwitz came to London to give evidence. In a sensational ending of the trial Dering was awarded 'one halfpenny'.
